What is a lobo and a rover in football?

I am a quarterback and I always hear my coach talking to me about reading the lobo and the rover. I have no idea what a lobo or a rover is. Does anyone know what they are? Also, does anybody know the signals for the pass routes. For example, a fade route is read by both thumbs pointing to your left and right. Any good help would be appreciated.|||Some college teams come up with names for positions that really aren't defined well by the traditional positions. In general a rover is basically a player who is anywhere on the field he really doesn't line up in a set spot but is supposed to be something between a saftey and linebacker. I am probably guessing New Mexico probably calls their rover a lobo just because their mascot is a lobo. The Air force academy calls their s a falcon.|||not everyones symbols are the same...a lobo may be the linebacker...and rover my guess would be the safties...but im not real sure...just ask him what he is talking about
