Is the cost high to maintain a 2011 Land Rover LR4?

I am currently thinking about buying a 2011 Land Rover LR4. The sales rep told me that you only have to do oil changes once a year. However, some previous Land Rover customers are telling me that the maintance is very costly and would not buy it. Most of them are selling their trucks.

Can someone give me the prices and yearly costs.|||I wouldn't buy a hat from a Land Rover.

You will probably need a new engine every year, at about $10k a piece|||the maintenance for any new vehicle depends of the miles you run the oil change should be done between 3,000to 4,000 miles so, do the math of how many miles would you drive. Average yearly use is 10,000 so the approximate price would be $ 100.00 if you do it, and double if taken to the dealer or probably more cars need other fluids and also consider brakes that would cost you between $200 to $300 if done on time.|||cost of maintenance is very high, not only is the car prone to many malfunctions, parts are expensive to replace as well as repairs. Changing oil is the same for any car, depending on the type of synthetic oil used, and how much you drive, you may only have to change it a few times. Tires are also expensive for the car, would not recommend it.|||Landrover/Range Rover is now no longer owned by Ford, and has been sold to the Indians, same as Jaguar.

They will therefore now cost what their new masters dictate.
