I have a 2001 land rover range rover hse 4.6. It will not start. I just had the battery replaced and the codes reset by a dealer; it still will not start. Now the dealer says I need an engine control module($1700) but they are not sure that will fix the problem. Any ideas?|||check to see if gas is getting to the engine and make sure the plugs are getting juice. it could turn out to be the coil. why not take the module and coil off and have them tested.|||Does the shop have a computer to do a complete analysis
If they aren't sure , find a shop with a computer to give you a better answer.
Check your local auto wreckers, for a module, you can replace that yourself with basic tools and save a ton of money.|||have the starter and starter solenoid check out
